Craig Conover is making an effort to move forward by letting go of the past.
During his appearance on the Thursday, March 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Conover, 36, shared what happened to the engagement ring he had bought for Paige DeSorbo before their breakup.
“I just returned it this morning,” he revealed to host Andy Cohen. “Diamonds are down right now so [the jeweler] was like, ‘Do you care if I hold it?’ I just don’t need custody of it anymore so I took it back to the guy.”
His close friend Austen Kroll appeared visibly stunned by the revelation, while Shep Rose attempted to lighten the mood by joking, “Can I borrow $100?”
Southern Charm: A Guide to Who Has Dated Each Other
In December 2024, DeSorbo, 32, announced on her Giggly Squad podcast that her relationship with Conover had ended after three years together.
Two months later, Southern Charm fans discovered that Conover had purchased an engagement ring before the split.
“I’m gonna propose,” he stated in a preview of the Bravo reality series. “She asked me to buy her a ring and, like, I did.”
Since their breakup became public, numerous cast members from both Southern Charm and DeSorbo’s Summer House have shared their thoughts on what went wrong.
However, Conover remains focused on moving ahead. Part of that includes seeing someone new. “I’ve been seeing someone,” he hinted on WWHL. “I’ve been reminded that the universe works in crazy ways and everything happens for a reason.”

“When Paige did her first breakup podcast, she said I was the best boyfriend she ever had, and I truly believe we had a wonderful relationship,” he reflected. “I think I was one of the most supportive people in her life.”

When asked about speculation regarding what led to the breakup, Conover made it clear that he wasn’t interested in addressing what other Bravo stars had to say.
“I have my memories, and we had a great relationship. Now I’m moving on with my life,” he said. “I obviously was surprised when she left, and I’m just kind of focused on moving forward. … I haven’t done anything except try to move on with my life. I’m really happy in the chapter that I’m in.”
