Former Japanese AV actress and social media influencer Asuka Kirara recently spoke out to clarify her involvement with Ju Hak Nyeon, a former member of the K-pop group The Boyz, amid ongoing controversy.
On July 3 (JST), Asuka Kirara appeared on TikTok Live to share her side of the story, stating that she met Ju Hak Nyeon for the very first time that night and emphasized that there was no physical intimacy between them.
She also expressed confusion and suspicion about Ju Hak Nyeon’s removal from The Boyz, suggesting that the company may have had ulterior motives behind his dismissal, stating,
“I feel like they wanted to kick him out from the start… I think they were trying to cover something else up.”
This statement came shortly after the Seoul Gangnam Police Station officially dismissed the prostitution solicitation case against Ju Hak Nyeon due to “insufficient grounds.”
Following the dismissal, Ju Hak Nyeon took to Instagram Stories to announce that he had filed a lawsuit worth 1 billion KRW (approximately 740,000 USD) against reporter Choi Ji Hye of Tenasia, accusing her of publishing defamatory news intended to ruin his life. He challenged the reporter to “tell me the truth in court.”

The situation has stirred widespread attention and heated debate among fans and netizens alike.
Despite the dismissal of legal charges, the controversy surrounding Ju Hak Nyeon’s departure from The Boyz continues to be a hot topic in the K-pop community.
