Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas, who used to be on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” got in trouble recently.
He was arrested for driving under the influence in Atlanta. The police found him guilty of several things, like driving with expired tags, not having a license, no proof of insurance, and not following traffic rules. Thomas, who is 63 years old, got into this mess on January 9.
He got arrested, but they let him go after he paid bail a few hours later. The news says he has some rules to follow now. He can’t drink alcohol or use drugs, has to do surprise drug tests, and can’t own any guns. They didn’t tell us more about why he got arrested, and he hasn’t said anything about it.
Peter Thomas has past troubles
This isn’t the first time Peter Thomas got in trouble with the law. Back in 2019, he got arrested for supposedly writing fake checks. After getting out in March that year, he said the accusations were false and that he trusted the legal system to prove he didn’t do anything wrong.
Peter Thomas became famous on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in season 3. He was with Cynthia Bailey, and their engagement, wedding, and divorce were big parts of the show.
After the split in 2013, he left the series. Cynthia Bailey, now 56, moved on and got married to Mike Hill in October 2020, but they split up in October 2022. She explained that the distance and changes in their careers caused the break-up. After the divorce, Cynthia got back in touch with Peter, and he wished her well.
Cynthia left “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in September 2021 and appeared on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in season 13. In a recent episode, she was a guest at Kyle Richards’ CBD dinner.
Cynthia Bailey’s recent procedure
Cynthia Bailey is doing well after getting surgery to remove her bunions. She recently posted an update on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself relaxing on her blue couch at her lakeside home. In the picture, she’s barefoot, wearing comfy clothes and a baseball cap with two long braids.
In the caption, Cynthia talked about her bunion removal with Dr. Wagner. It’s been almost a month since the surgery, and she’s happy with how her recovery is going.
Even though her feet are a bit swollen, she’s not feeling any pain. Right now, she can’t wear tight shoes or heels, so she’s switched to more comfortable options like UGGs and open-toe shoes.
Cynthia joked that her feet might not look perfect because she hasn’t been able to get a pedicure yet, which she finds a bit challenging. But overall, she’s glad she took care of the issue because it was getting really painful to wear closed-toed shoes.
The post includes a video showing her healing progress after almost a month, along with close-up photos of her post-surgery feet resting on the couch and a before-and-after comparison from the day of the procedure. Check out her recovery journey in the swipe-left video and images below.
