Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon’s management label, has issued a brief response to recent reports suggesting the musician’s comeback is set for August this year.
A representative of Galaxy Corporation told news outlets,
“While it’s true that G-Dragon’s comeback will be some time in the second half of the year, no specific date has been set yet.”
Should G-Dragon indeed release new solo music as hinted, it would signify his comeback to the music scene after a hiatus of seven years, following the launch of his second mini-album ‘Kwon Ji Yong’ in June 2017.
Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, G-Dragon debuted in 2006 and gained fame as the leader of BigBang, one of the world’s top-selling boy bands.
