The final batch of resale tickets for Glastonbury Festival were quickly snapped up, with all available tickets selling out within a mere 22 minutes.
Following the initial ticket sale in November, hopeful attendees were afforded two additional opportunities this week to secure their entry, albeit with tickets in very short supply.
On Thursday, the resale coach packages disappeared in a mere 18 minutes, leaving many disappointed fans in their wake.
Then, on Sunday at 09:00 BST, general admission tickets were released to the public. However, the demand was so high that by 09:22 BST, See Tickets confirmed that all tickets had been sold out.
The price of admission for the 2024 festival stood at £355 per person, with an additional £5 booking fee, marking an increase from the £335 fee for the previous year’s event.
The quantity of tickets available for the resales hinged on the number of individuals who hadn’t settled the full price for their ticket after initially depositing in November.
The 2024 edition of the festival marks a significant milestone as it features two female headliners on the iconic Pyramid Stage for the first time ever – Dua Lipa and SZA, alongside Coldplay as the third headlining act.
Additional artists such as Lulu, Frank Turner, and Kate Nash were revealed as part of the lineup on Tuesday, joining an already impressive roster.
The festival bill also boasts names like LCD Soundsystem, The Streets, Little Simz, Avril Lavigne, and Cyndi Lauper, with more acts yet to be revealed.
