Glen Powell gave a hilarious justification for his choice to appear in the nude on the December cover of Men’s Health.
Glen Powell joked in response to a tweet from Us Weekly about the photo shoot that the main reason he bared all was to draw attention away from a picture that went viral, and someone said he looked like “a capybara who made a wish to become human.”
His lighthearted comment implied that the naked picture was meant to overshadow the less attractive one.

In a daring photo shoot, the 35-year-old star of “Top Gun: Maverick” showed off his nude back, covering it with a towel and a wide-brimmed hat that was placed in a strategic manner for modesty.
Glen Powell also wore the towel around his waist in other photos, highlighting his toned abs, and then showed up in just gray sweatpants. He chose a more traditional outfit for the magazine’s real cover, sporting an unbuttoned t-shirt and Levi’s jeans.
In an associated interview, Powell talked about the much-discussed reports that he had an affair with Sydney Sweeney, his co-star, while they were shooting “Anyone But You.”
“When all that happened publicly, it felt disorienting and unfair,” he said about the rumors that surfaced in March following his apparent strong on-set chemistry with Sydney Sweeney.
“But what I’m realizing is, that’s just a part of this gig now,” he said. The actor behind “Set It Up,” who split from girlfriend Gigi Paris in April after three years together, said that dating has “shifted” for him since he started to get recognition. “It’s like, ‘Oh,’ when you ask someone to take a selfie after you’re talking to them or something, and you’re like, ‘We have a great connection, we have a great interaction,'” he said.
