Rising star Go Youn Jung recently graced the pages of Harper’s Bazaar Korea, not only dazzling in a new photo shoot but also opening up about her evolving relationship with acting.
In the accompanying interview, Go Youn Jung revealed that despite her growing experience, she still considers herself a “rookie” at heart—a perspective she embraces with pride.
“When I’m on set, I feel there’s still so much I don’t know,” she shared. “But I’m not ashamed of this ‘rookie’ mindset. I see it as a sign that I’m still excited about acting.”
Having wrapped up filming for both tvN’s “Resident Playbook” and the upcoming Netflix drama “Can This Love Be Translated?”, she reflected on her learning curve and growing enjoyment of the craft.

“Both dramas and films are ultimately judged by the public, so I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer. What feels right on one set might not on another—that’s how I keep learning every day.”
Go Youn Jung also spoke candidly about her progress in becoming more comfortable on set:
“When I first started, I’d get so tense that I’d stiffen up. But now that I understand how things work, acting is becoming more and more fun.”
She added with a smile,
“Last year was more enjoyable than the year before, and this year is more enjoyable than last year. Right now might be the most fun I’ve ever had working in my whole life.”
Her genuine enthusiasm and reflective outlook only add to the growing admiration from fans and industry professionals alike.
