Jessica Biel isn’t shy about sharing the realities of her marriage to Justin Timberlake.
“Another year to make memories that I keep sacred in my heart,” Biel, 42, wrote on Instagram on Friday, January 31, in celebration of Timberlake’s 44th birthday.
“Another year of joy and challenges being a parent with you. Another year together being curious and creative in the world.”
The actress continued by describing their marriage as a journey that constantly changes, sometimes for better or worse, while paying tribute to her husband.
“Another year growing and evolving and sometimes devolving, with you,” she added. “Another year laughing about it all. Happy birthday my love.”

Biel and Timberlake began dating in 2007. After a brief breakup in 2011, they reconciled and tied the knot in 2012.
“She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life,” Timberlake told in an interview that year. “In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay? I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me — for instance, her.”
The couple shares two children, Silas and Phineas. In June 2024, Timberlake was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, in addition to receiving two citations—one for running a stop sign and another for failing to stay in his lane.
Several months later, in September, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of driving while impaired. As a result, he was fined $500 and required to complete 25 hours of community service at a non-profit organization of his choice.
Following Timberlake’s arrest, sources close to the couple revealed that Biel was deeply affected by the incident.
“Jessica is extremely upset,” an insider told at the time. “She was shocked to hear the news and had no idea, as she was working. She was really worried about him.”
Despite speculation that the incident could lead to the couple’s separation, Biel remained supportive of her husband in the wake of the public ordeal.
“Jessica and Justin are spending more time together and are happier and more relaxed,” the source explained.
“Justin is taking time to reevaluate his priorities. He hasn’t been going out as much and is staying in more with Jessica and the kids. Jessica is showing patience and compassion while also maintaining firm expectations of him.”
On Friday, Timberlake expressed his gratitude to Biel and others who had wished him well on his birthday.
“Thank ya’ll for the birthday love,” Timberlake wrote via Instagram Stories. “And @jessicabiel you outdid yourself.”
