Kanye West has been accused of sexual assault in a new lawsuit.
According to legal documents obtained by multiple outlets, West’s former assistant has sued him for sexual assault, which allegedly took place during a studio session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Lauren Pisciotta, the plaintiff, claims that West, 46, gave her a drink laced with substances before committing “sexual battery.” West has not publicly responded to Pisciotta’s accusations.
Pisciotta’s current claim is an amendment to a previously filed wrongful termination lawsuit. In June, it was confirmed that Pisciotta had sued West for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and creating a hostile work environment.
West has denied the initial allegations. In a statement, his legal team claimed that Pisciotta had allegedly tried to pursue him “sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits” and later attempted to blackmail him after he “rejected her advances.”
“In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta,” the statement continued. “Before her termination as an assistant, Ms. Pisciotta stole his cell phone in an effort to destroy phone records that would disprove her claims, all of which have been preserved.”
West further alleged that Pisciotta was terminated for being “unqualified” and “demanding unreasonable sums of money.” He also claimed she had offered him sex on his birthday, which he declined, and that she sent him unsolicited explicit photos of herself.
Diddy, 54, has not been directly implicated in the sexual assault allegations but was reportedly co-hosting the event with West.
The lawsuit does not specify his involvement beyond that context. However, Diddy has been embroiled in his own legal troubles since he was accused of misconduct last year. Several celebrities have come forward to share allegations about his behavior at parties.
In September, Diddy was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy, and transporting individuals for prostitution.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges, but a judge denied him bail, and he remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn pending his 2025 trial. His appeals for bail have been denied twice.
Diddy and his legal team continue to assert his innocence.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement last month.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and dedicated philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and uplifting the Black community.”
Agnifilo added, “While he may not be perfect, he is not a criminal. Mr. Combs has been fully cooperative with this investigation, and he voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”
