The 40-year-old rapper and singer known for “Day ‘N’ Nite,” Scott Mescudi, has announced his engagement to menswear designer Lola Abecassis Sartore.
Mescudi, also known as Cudi, shared the joyous news via Instagram, where he affectionately referred to Lola as his “fiancée.”
A closer look at the carousel of images from the Paramount+ series Knuckles premiere reveals Lola’s left hand adorned with a sparkling ring.
“This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and I’m so excited to share this news w u all,” he writes.
“Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect.”
Sartore also shared a photo of the pair on her Instagram, writing,
“I never thought I could love someone this much! So proud to call you my fiancé Scott. I can’t wait for you all to see this amazing man in the new Knuckles show!”
Cudi climbed into her comments, insisting:
“U have me forever.”
Sartore also reposted the picture on her Instagram Stories and wrote,
“The smiles on our faces says it all! Love you to the moon and back Kid Cudi.” He replied, “Love u more my angel baby.”
Cudi is basking in love and success lately. He recently joined the lineup for the second weekend of the Coachella Festival, slated for Sunday, April 21.
The Ohio native’s last Coachella performance was in 2019, where he concluded with a rendition of “Pursuit of Happiness” from his 2009 album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day,” dedicated to Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle.
Upon news of his Coachella appearance, Cudi excitedly shared, “Insano Boy Is Comin,” on Tuesday night.
Coachella marks the beginning of Cudi’s Insano World Tour, starting in Austin, Texas, on June 28 and spanning arenas across the country throughout the summer.
Next year, he plans to take his tour overseas with concerts scheduled in Germany, Italy, France, and the U.K.
