Han has become the leader of the Alpha squad despite not being a level 3. The Alpha Squad is a group of elite soldiers selected to test out the second-gen psycho gears, and Han’s lack of experience has made it hard for him to control the team.

Kill The Dragon Chapter 85 opens up with Lee Han having lunch with his friends at the Ark base. Suddenly, one person starts throwing things around and causing commotion in the area, which catches Han’s attention. Han’s friend explains that the other guy is just mad because he wasn’t selected as a second-gen reinforced soldier.

The main reason for the outburst of the other guy was that only level 3 people were selected for this mission, but Lee Han was selected as an exception to the rule. It’s a pretty valid reason to be mad because imagine being superior to someone in rank and still not getting selected for an important mission.
Several days pass by, and the day finally arrives when Lee Han takes on the role of the leader of Alpha Squad. The first mission for the Alpha squad is to wipe out the minions in the area and also test out psycho frames while maintaining good teamwork.
Han tries to give commands to everyone regarding the information available, but Mus interrupts him by saying that he’ll be enough for this mission. Mus further adds that they won’t even need the suits to wipe out some minions and that even teamwork is not necessary.
Amir stops Mus and reminds him of their real objective, which is to test out the psycho frames and build teamwork. Mus laughs and says that he was just joking around, but Amir gets rather annoyed by him. Han watches Amir and Mus arguing and gets concerned about their teamwork.
The Alpha squad starts to move, and they soon find the first group of minions. Han decides he and Silence will fight the minions, but Mus doesn’t listen to his orders and jumps right into the action. Failing to stop Mus from going berserk, Han orders everyone to back him up.
Mus opens fire at the werewolves in the area while Han and others stay back. Suddenly, a Basilisk arrives in the area, which is bad news. A Basilisk is a horrifying beast with the capability of destroying tanks in one strike, and a human can never stand against such power.
Han thinks that they should be able to win with the help of second geb psycho frames, and so he orders Amir and Silence to take on the Basilisk while he and Mus defeat the werewolves. Amir activates his psychic powers and asks Silence to finish this in one strike.
Amir distracts the basilisk with three airbits and also improves the movement of Silence by using four airbits. Silence appreciates Amir’s abilities, and then he strikes at the Basilisk with full force. With a swing of his lightning-fast sword, Silence pierces through the Basilisk. The Basilisk writhes in pain and falls.
Mus and Han also go full force and eventually burn down the last of the werewolves. With both the werewolves and Basilisk defeated, the first mission of the Alpha squad finally comes to an end. Han orders everyone to take off their psycho gears and rest until the cargo aircraft arrives.
Mus looks at his new gun and smiles. Amir asks Mus to stay focused, but Mus argues that it’s fine because their mission is over. Mus then compliments the new gear and says that he had a lot of fun burning down the werewolves.
Han notices how easily everyone can handle the psycho gears, which is enough proof of their elite status. Now that the mission is over, Han only has one task left, and that is to learn how to control his team.
