Prince William and his eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, had a memorable meet-and-greet with Taylor Swift ahead of her inaugural Eras Tour concert in London.
“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” Swift, 34, posted on Instagram on Saturday, June 22, sharing a selfie she took the night before.
In the photo, Swift—wearing her “The Man” blazer from the beginning of the show—smiled next to William, 42, George, 10, and Charlotte, 9. Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, joined them for the picture and had his arm around the Prince of Wales.
Swift’s first London concert took place at Wembley Stadium on Friday, coinciding with William’s birthday.
The prince attended the performance from a private box with George and Charlotte, who are his children with wife Princess Kate Middleton. (Kate, 42, and the couple’s youngest child, Prince Louis, did not appear to attend the concert.)
William and George both wore blue button-down shirts and jeans, while Charlotte embraced the unofficial Eras dress code with a pink, sparkly dress that matched Swift’s Fearless and Lover eras.
“Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening!” William posted on his own Instagram on Saturday.
During the concert, observant fans saw William and Charlotte enjoying the music. At one point, William was seen shimmying to Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
Meanwhile, Kelce, 34, watched from the VIP tent with friends Ross Travis, Jonathan Van Ness, Nicola Coughlan, Cara Delevingne, Salma Hayek, Leslie Mann, and others.
Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, also attended with his wife, Kylie Kelce. The Kelce brothers, aged 36 and 34, were seen dancing throughout the concert while wearing DIY friendship bracelets.
Swift is set to headline two more shows at Wembley this weekend and will return for an additional five concerts in August.
“Man, I’ll tell you what. The London shows, I think she’s at Wembley eight times, which is mind-blowing that she can do that many shows in one stadium and fill that thing up,” Travis told previously.
“I played at Wembley once, and I don’t even think we filled that thing all the way up.”
Swift and the NFL tight end have been dating since the summer of 2023, publicly confirming their relationship in September when Swift attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game.
She has since attended 12 more games, including February’s Super Bowl, before Kelce spent much of his offseason at her Eras concerts.
“Taylor’s shows are unbelievable,” Travis toldin May. “If you haven’t been to them, you’ve got to try it.”
