Fox News Channel hosts Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt have officially taken their relationship to the next stage.
Hannity proposed to Earhardt over Christmas at their home church, marking a significant step in their long-term commitment. The newly engaged couple received the blessing and support of their children, who are “overjoyed” by the news, as shared by the couple.
“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” said Earhardt and Hannity.
The couple first connected through their shared faith, and their relationship has been built on placing God at the center of their lives.
As a result, the proposal at their home church felt like the “perfect place” for such a moment, according to them. After the engagement, they met with their minister to seek guidance and blessings.
Though the couple prefers to keep their personal lives private, they have managed their long-distance relationship with weekend trips between New York, where Earhardt is based, and Florida, where Hannity lives.
Both respect each other’s careers and have secured long-term contracts with FOX News Media. Earhardt will continue her role as co-host of “FOX & Friends” from New York, while Hannity will maintain his primetime show, “Hannity,” from Florida.
Both Earhardt and Hannity were previously married, but they continue to maintain amicable relationships with their ex-spouses, and the entire family supports each other. “We actually made them aware this was happening ahead of time,” they explained.
Earhardt and her former husband have a harmonious co-parenting relationship, raising their daughter in a way that “works seamlessly.”
Hannity has dominated the ratings in his timeslot for 15 years, making him the longest-running cable news host in history. He became a Fox News original when the network launched in 1996, co-hosting “Hannity & Colmes.” Beyond his primetime program, Hannity also reaches millions through his popular radio show, which airs on 750 stations across the country.
Recently, Hannity expanded his portfolio with a new FOX Nation show, “Sean,” which features in-depth interviews.
His debut episode, released earlier this month, included a conversation with Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone. Hannity also hosted the fifth annual FOX Nation “Patriot Awards,” which celebrated everyday heroes for their service and patriotism.
Earhardt has been with Fox News since 2007 and has been the co-host of “FOX & Friends” since 2016. The popular morning show has held the No. 1 spot for over 20 consecutive years. As an author, Earhardt has written four New York Times bestsellers, including three No. 1 children’s books.
She also hosts “Ainsley’s Bible Study” on FOX Nation. Earlier this year, she was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of South Carolina for her achievements in broadcast news and as an author.
