Kawahara, the author of the manga, originally started the manga as a 100-page version. That version encapsulated the entire story and plotline. It was aired in the Bessatsu Margaret sister magazine in 2011.
After that, the manga returned as a full-fledged work in the same magazine. The manga ended in 2016 and became extremely popular. After the end of the manga, a side story was then released in 2018.
Now, five years after the side story, My Love Story!! I will return to Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine. Only two chapters will be released, which will follow a specific plot.
The magazine described the story, and it said that the characters would be working a part-time job in a resort during their college winter break. However, there is a mysterious mansion. The magazine revealed nothing more, but this sneak peek has only managed to increase people’s curiosity and excitement for the new release.

Girls flock around his handsome best friend, Sunakwa, instead. Takeo has spent his entire life on the sidelines and is used to that. However, his entire life takes a turn when he saves a young girl.
Yamato is a beautiful young girl who is being harassed on the train. Takeo managed to save her, and his love life began from there. Fans enjoyed this anime because instead of opting for good looks, the female MC, Yamato, chose Takeo and his big and kind heart.
Fans also like the idea of a gentle giant, and Takeo seems to have fulfilled that role for them. After the manga, the anime adaptation was released in 2015. The creator of the manga, Aruko, and another manga author, Wataru Hinekure, teamed up as well.
The two created a manga called My Love Mix-Up!, which was also loved by the fans. The manga was featured in Bessatsu Margaret from 2019 to 2022. A live-action for the same also took place in 2021. In addition to that, the series will also have a Thai television adaptation. The Thai adaptation will air in 2024.
