Many people think that love has no age boundaries. The Golden Bachelor provides much evidence to support the premise that every hour of the day is perfect for love.
The dating show features women sixty years of age and older from all around the United States who want to try their luck with love again. Twenty-four women joined the series to explore their romantic lives in greater detail. But Gerry Turner is the one man who can relate to all of them.
After losing his wife a long time ago, Gerry, a 72-year-old retired restaurant owner, is hoping to find the woman who would make him feel at home once more.
Among the women who took part in the first season of The Golden Bachelor were Faith, Edith, Theresa, Pamela, Sandra, Anna, Leslie, Susan, Christina, Sandra, Ellen, Patty, Joan, Kathy, Maria, Theresa, April, Nancy, Jeanie, Marina, Natascha, Peggy, Renee, and Sylvia. The Golden Bachelor’s host lineup now includes the stunning Jesse Palmer.

Jesse Palmer opened the first-ever Golden Bachelor Women Tell All on a momentous occasion! Patty, Pamela, Marina, Christina, Natascha, Joan, Nancy, Edith, April, Kathy, Sandra, Susan, and, of course, Ellen are the women in attendance! Jesse recommends that the ladies start by going over the exercises Sandra gave Gerry for her cursing nerve on the first night of her limo departure.
Following a hearty belly laugh, Jesse, the women, and Gerry reflect on their time together. The renowned pickleball game and the notorious conflict between Kathy and Theresa are two notable moments. The women consider their experiences as Golden Bachelors after viewing the clips.
The organization’s overall consensus is to exhort others in their age range to never give up on love. That’s accurate! Jesse takes advantage of the situation to make fun of April by pointing out her fake ankle ailment on the pickleball court. “Desperate times call for desperate measures,” April responds. She’s not wrong!
More importantly, Kathy claims that she and Theresa have made up following their on-screen argument. Natascha responds that it’s because they “have all lived life” when Jesse tells the women that they are all inspirational. Perhaps one of the highlights of the evening was Kris Jenner’s unique video greeting to the women.
She naturally extends a particular thank you to her twin, Susan! The first fortunate woman to go up to the hot seat is Joan, who talks about her choice to withdraw herself from the competition. Joan explains how much her daughter needs her mother’s support while she battles postpartum depression. Joan breaks down in tears as she recalls her time spent with Gerry.
She talks about what it’s like to date as an older adult before wrapping up. Could she be our Golden Bachelorette? Ellen, who gained popularity quickly, is the next person to face criticism. It was tragic to witness Ellen being removed just before her hometown. Ellen confides in Jesse that she thought Gerry had an amazing life during their talk.
Emotions are running high in the room as Jesse quizzes Ellen about her best friend Roberta, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer prior to filming. Roberta and Ellen had been best friends for nearly 60 years when Roberta passed away soon after Ellen returned from filming. Courtney, Roberta’s daughter, surprised Ellen by approaching the audience and informing her that she is the best friend her mother could have asked for.
Now that Gerry is formally at home, his ex-girlfriends are overjoyed to have him back! He laughs that he’s doing fine and hasn’t had a heart attack yet, in typical Gerry humor! More seriously, Gerry acknowledges that he has missed every woman.
The women can’t stop talking to Gerry. In answer to Marina’s query about whether all men in Indiana are like him, Sandra states that Gerry demonstrated to her that it is possible to find a husband in their generation.
