The latest did not waste much time and after a surprising encounter that we saw in the 5th episode of this season, the latest began with a flashback of the Sword Hero who was always applauded for his amazing gaming skills. This has led Ren to believe that he can indeed save Raphtalia’s world with his gaming skills and leads his party to fight the Tortoise spirit only to lose them.

What followed this was only the downfall of Ren starting with him being chased by the hooded men and when Ren tried to take cover in a strange house, they kicked him for not being able to protect them from the Tortoise spirit.
Ren’s running away got him into the forest where he was also kicked down by another party until he finally landed his path with Motoyasu. The two start fighting at first sight and Naofumi arrives and tries to reason with him but Ren does not trust anyone and tries to kill him as well.
It is then Eclair who steps saying that she will take care of this matter with her own hands and fights Ren but Naofumi is on standby and will step in if things get a little tough. Despite using his greedy sword, Eclair defeats Ren with a single blow.
After this, the hooded men come after him but Motoyasu takes care of them and Eclar requests Ren to be them and get stronger which the latter agrees.
