American Christmas comedy television series The Santa Clauses made its premiere on Disney Plus. As the series was created by Jack Burditt, the newest series is a sequel to The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. As the series was released in 2022, the popularity of the show was followed by a renewal announcement of season 2.
Series star Elizabeth Mitchell has admitted that she is excited as it was a real surprise and pretty much came out of the blue. The actress further admitted that she was not even aware that anyone was thinking about it, so the renewal came as a surprise, which later turned into joy.

Tim Allen: Popular actor Tim Allen plays the role of Santa/ who is also Scott Calvin. As Tim’s character makes up his mind about retiring as Santa, he soon tries to prepare his family to take care of the North Pole without him. Not only that, but he is also mentoring his son Cal to take over the responsibilities of being the next Santa.
Tim Allen is no stranger to comedy shows and movies as he rose to huge fame during the 1990s and early 2000s. He has also been seen in Home Improvement, as the Santa actor has starred in the Santa Clause trilogy, Galaxy Quest, and Toy Story.
Elizabeth Mitchell: Elizabeth plays the role of Mrs. Claus/who is also known as Carol. As she plays the role of Tim Allen’s onscreen wife, she has starred In The Santa Clauses, where she is seen joining Scott and their daughter, Sandra. Fans saw the actress at the end of Season 1 before she was forced back to save Christmas. The actress had earlier appeared in The Santa Clause 2 and 3 along with the hit television drama series Lost.
Austin Kane: Kane plays the role of Cal Calvin Claus. While viewers had earlier seen baby Cal at the end of The Santa Clause 3, Cal seems to be all grown up in The Santa Clauses and is seemingly questioning his career and life choices and wondering what he wants to do with his life ahead.
As Cal is the son of Scott and Carol, he finally decides that he would join in his father’s footsteps and is all set to be trained in order to become the next Santa after Scott. Austin Kane’s acting credits include the teen drama series Never Have I Ever, the Lethal Weapon series TV series, and the HBO comedy series titled The Sex Lives of College Girls.
Elizabeth Allen-Dick: The young actress marks her acting debut with her role as Sandra Calvin Claus. Sandra is the second and the youngest child of Scott and Carol, and she grows to be unsure about following her family’s footsteps. The entire clan is back at the Pole after they failed to find a worthy successor in Season 1.
Eric Stonestreet: The Popular actor is all set to play Magnus Antas, who is also The Mad Santa, in season 2. As he is reportedly going to be the antagonist, the Modern Family actor Eric’s Magnus eventually returns to the North Pole after being accidentally released.
He plots to take down the Calvin family, as he believes that he is the worthy heir to the Santa throne. Eric Stonestreet’s other acting credits include The Loft, Modern Family, Almost Famous, and The Secret Life of Pets.
Gabriel Iglesias: The popular actor and comedian plays the role of Kris Kringle. Kris is playing the role of the owner of a Santa-themed amusement park in the North Pole, as it is known as Santaland. Gabriel Iglesias’ other acting credits include Ferdinand, Magic Mike XXL, and The Book of Life.
