Just one day before multiple outlets reported that the Spider-Man stars were engaged, Zendaya unveiled what many believe to be her engagement ring at the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5. So, what’s the story behind the stunning new piece of jewelry?
Zendaya’s ring seems to be the 5.02ct East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring by British jewelry designer Jessica McCormack. The designer’s website describes the ring as featuring a Georgian-style cut-down setting in 18k white and yellow gold.
E! News has reached out to representatives for Zendaya and Tom but has not received a response. Meanwhile, the couple—who made their romance public in 2021—has not officially confirmed the engagement news themselves.
At the Golden Globes, where Zendaya was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, she dazzled in a burnt orange Louis Vuitton gown. Her accessories also caught attention, as she was adorned with Bvlgari jewels on her neck and right hand.
However, the ring on her left hand—the one everyone was buzzing about—remained without a formal label.
Despite sparking engagement rumors, Zendaya kept the focus elsewhere when speaking to a fellow bride-to-be during the event.
According to The Los Angeles Times, a reporter pointed out Zendaya’s left ring finger during the evening. In response, the actress playfully showed off the ring. When directly asked if she was engaged, Zendaya simply offered a shrug and a knowing smile, leaving fans to speculate further.
