Spider-man is a superhero from the American comics books by Marvel comics. He is created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. His alias Peter Parker is raised in new york by his aunt May and Uncle Ben. This silver age superhero debuted in the 1960s. He is a web-slinging expert with high strength and agility, powered by a good level of intelligence. With all his might, strength, and brainpower he has often overcome multiple Marvel villains. His capacities against his villains are always praiseworthy. He is one of those bold souls who understand that with great power, comes great responsibilities, and hence becomes a crimefighter at the school-going age of fifteen.
Even though he turned into a powerful hero from the bite of a radioactive spider, Spider-man has never been involved in direct combat with the characters from the DC world. Therefore it will be interesting to compare a few characters from the DC world to know who can actually defeat Spider-man. Darkseid
A supervillain created by Jack Kirby is considered the most powerful villain in the DC universe. He is one of the greatest villains of Superman and the main antagonist of the Justice League. Unlike Darkseid, who is a universe conquerer, Spider-man is more like a hero from the neighborhood, bound in the city of Manhatten, and fights criminals mostly inside New York. Darkseid can emit Omega beams from his eyes. They travel not only in a straight direction but also bend, get curved, or even pass through his opponent’s body, shattering it into pieces. Only Superman can resist it but with a lot of pain. For spiderman, it may prove disastrous.
Darkseid once broke green lanterns ring with his bare hands. He’s most strong even when he doesn’t use his full strength. His reflexes are too good as he reacts to his opponents in nanoseconds. He also uses telepathy and is skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Spider-man can hardly stand against these godly powers and skills and will face defeat at the hands of Darkseid.

Anti-Monitor
Anti-monitor is a supervillain that appeared in DC comics between the 1960s and 1980s. He was the main antagonist in the comics Crisis on Infinite Earths in 1985. He also appeared as an enemy against Green Lantern Corps and the justice league.
Anti-Monitor consumes the positive matter of the universe to increase his powers. He can traverse the multiverse and disturb the fabric of time and the universe. He was even responsible for killing Supergirl and Barry Allen (Flash). Spider-man, sadly, doesn’t stand anywhere against this planet-eating monster. No amount of webs, hand shots, punches, or even intelligence help take him down.
Ra’s al Ghul
Ra’s al Ghul is the antagonist for Batman that appeared during the 1970s and was co-created by Dennis O’ Neil and Neal Adams. Looking to great powers and abilities, he has been nicknamed – ‘The Head of the Demon’. This ‘leader of Assasins’ is an expert in more than a hundred types of martial arts to which only Batman can be his worthy opponent.
During his long life, he has learned both fighting and intellectual skills in addition to weaponry. Ghul owns green Lazarus Pits, which are used to heal quickly. Ghul has some mystical powers, such as transferring his soul into different bodies, and thus, he can claim mortality. In this situation, Spider-man can overcome him physically but the mysticism posed by Ghul can prove lethal.
Joker
Joker is a fictional comic character that was created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and Jerry Robinson in 1940. He is an archenemy of Batman. He is a criminal mastermind and a psychopath having a sadistic sense of humor.
Unlike most of the other supervillains, Joker has no superhuman abilities. He uses some typical crime methods to revenge on his opponents as a razor-tipped playing deck of cards, a jack in the box, exploding cigars, and other unpleasant surprises. But Joker is a genius of chemistry that uses an uncommon Joker venom, a poisonous liquid, that lands his opponent into a burst of laughter. Its higher doses may cause paralysis or even send an individual to his death bed. He is also a melee expert with which he defeated Batman once in a sword fight. Joker’s powerful asset is his sharp mind which can defeat Spider-man.

Green Lantern
The evil fighters group, Green Lanterns, use a mystical ring granting them some extraordinary superpowers. They belong to an intergalactic law enforcement agency whose first member was Alan Scott, created in 1940 by Martin Nodell with Bill Finger. Alan fought in the Capitol city and later shifted to Gotham city. Comparing their powers with Spider-man, we find Green lanterns a little better. Spider-man fought Electro and other laser-emitting villains, but Green lanterns pose a different difficulty against him.
They can use the laser emitted by the ring by giving it any form or shape as per their need. They form ‘constructs’ which are solid green objects operated telekinetically. Their ring helps them travel around interstellar distances fast enough to patrol the universe. They even provide shielding. But their finger-band is only as powerful as the willpower of its bearer, and Spider-man can gain an edge. But against a strongly will-powered Green Lantern, he may surrender.
Batman
Bruce Wayne is also known as Batman, a playboy billionaire turned superhero. He is the creation of Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Batman made his debut in 1939. He is a typical man who is strong in physical and intellectual skills. He is a polymath, an expert in all kinds of literature, giving him an edge over Spider-man, who is an expert in basic sciences in addition to strength and web-slinging.
Like his opponent Ra’s al Ghul, Batman is a master of hundreds of martial arts styles. He has high-end technology to develop brilliant gadgets to fight against Spider-man. Even if we ignore Batman’s skills and tools once, his immense willpower distinguishes him from everyone enabling him to stand firm against his opponent until he dies.

Wonder Woman
Princess Diana of Themyscira, also known as Wonder woman, is a much-celebrated superheroine from the DC universe. She is created by William Moulton and Harry G. Peter. She appeared for the first time in 1941 and is the founder of the Justice League. Wonder woman is the most powerful woman in the world who is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and uses her Amazon bracelet as a shield against bullets.
She is the best melle in the world as Batman himself called her once. She also has knowledge of applied sciences. Though Spiderman has fought mutants, supervillains, and even monsters, he has never fought this champion of the Amazon. She can easily tear off all his webs with her sharp moves and challenge his intellect. Hence she can defeat Spider-man.
Flash
The fastest man on the earth is Flash, who appeared first in 1939. He is created by Gardener Fox and Harry Lampert. Flash owns super speed, supermind, super-reflexes, and time travel abilities. With these abilities, he can defeat Spiderman in less than nanoseconds.
This speedster shares a light-hearted nature with Spidey and optimism towards his goals. But Flash gets a leg more than Spider-man because of his superspeedy nature, which allows him to vibrate even through solid matters, including human flesh.
