UFC sensation Conor McGregor revealed on Saturday that he has acquired a minority share in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships.
Interrupting the KnuckleMania 4 broadcast, the former featherweight and lightweight titleholder seized the spotlight to announce his association with the promotion.
BKFC president David Feldman chimed in, asserting that the agreement would have a significant impact.
In April 2023, McGregor made a splash at BKFC 41, appearing with a BKFC title in hand. Stepping into the ring, he approached Mike Perry following Perry’s victory over Luke Rockhold in the main event. McGregor, 35, commended BKFC for its exceptional setup and matchmaking prowess.
The specifics of McGregor’s deal remain vague. It’s likely he’ll assume an ambassadorial role rather than competing.
His much-anticipated return to the UFC against Michael Chandler is set for UFC 303 on June 29. Chandler acknowledged McGregor’s expanding influence in combat sports:
Conor out here making moves….hate it or love it, the dude is making stuff happen. With that being said, I KO him within 10 min on June 29 at #UFC303 @TheNotoriousMMA

Even if McGregor never headlines a BKFC card, his immense popularity is sure to boost the company now that he’s a confirmed part-owner.
