In the previous chapter of Ways to Satisfy a Devil, Kamille comes back and he is very bold in confessing that he missed Vanessa right to her face. Well, Vanessa probably felt really awkward and shy about it since he was so brazen. The fans were loving the adorable moments between the two, especially their sweet kiss.
Vanessa said that she wasn’t expecting to see him so soon but Kamille replied that he rushed back because he wanted to see her like it was the most obvious thing in the world. She felt all nervous and shy because of Kamille’s response since she had no idea what to say.
Kamille obviously did not let such a good opportunity slip and made a comment about his monthly meals and what he needs to satiate his hunger. Vanessa caught on to her error soon enough and felt even more embarrassed than earlier. It was quite stupid of her to ask such a question and she tried to bury it.
Vanessa asks Kamille to be nicer to the crown prince during their conversation which confused Kamille a bit. He did ask her why she wanted him to be considerate of the crown prince. Vanessa unexpectedly replies that the crown prince reminds her of the 15th Emperor.
Kamille gets a little pouty and asks her if she was married to him in her previous life. Funnily enough. he was actually Vanessa’s son in that life and she began sharing stories about her experience from that particular lifetime. Kamille’s expression was really blank but he hugged her closely when she tried to get up.
