WINNER’s Song Min Ho, also known as Mino, was recently revealed to have been involved in a car accident, adding another layer of concern for fans already following his ongoing legal issues.
According to a report from Maeil Business Star Today on July 4, the accident occurred on June 14, when Mino was riding in a taxi near Dapsimni Station in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu district.
Although the collision was not classified as serious, Mino prudently visited a hospital for medical examinations to check for any potential aftereffects. No significant injuries have been publicly reported.
This incident comes during a time of heightened public scrutiny for the rapper and artist, who made headlines earlier this year over controversy surrounding his military service.

After beginning his alternative service as a social service worker in March 2023, Mino was officially discharged on December 23, 2023.
However, just before his discharge, he faced allegations of neglecting his duties and failing to properly report for work. The Military Manpower Administration subsequently requested a police investigation.
Following the investigation, Song Min Ho was officially booked, and his case was referred to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office on May 22 without detention.
During police questioning, Mino reportedly admitted to leaving his assigned post during work hours, a violation that has potentially serious consequences depending on how the court rules. As of now, there has been no final verdict released.
Despite these legal troubles and his recent accident, Mino continues to be a major figure in Korean entertainment.
Since debuting with WINNER in August 2014, he has earned widespread recognition for his musical versatility and charismatic stage presence, contributing to chart-topping hits like “EMPTY,” “REALLY REALLY,” and “EVERYDAY.”
His runner-up finish on Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 10” and appearances on popular variety programs such as New Journey to the West further solidified his status as one of the more dynamic idols of his generation.
Looking ahead, WINNER is scheduled to perform a two-day solo concert on July 26 and 27 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park.
However, the event will proceed with just three members—Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Lee Seung Hoon. Song Min Ho will not participate, likely due to his ongoing legal matters and recovery after the recent accident.
Fans remain hopeful for his well-being and a clear resolution to his legal situation. While this has undoubtedly been a challenging period for the artist, the support from WINNER’s fanbase continues to remain strong, with many expressing concern and sending well-wishes through social media.
