YG Entertainment is steadily building anticipation for their upcoming girl group, “NEXT MONSTER,” and the second member has officially been revealed!

At midnight KST on June 16, YG introduced Chanya, a 14-year-old trainee from Thailand, through a vocal cover video.

She amazed viewers with a hauntingly emotional rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s “the grudge,” showing off vocal control and maturity far beyond her age.

According to her profile shown at the end of the clip, Chanya has been training under YG for two years and eight months, and her position within the group is listed as vocalist.

Her performance suggests a strong foundation in both technique and expression—something YG is clearly highlighting as a pillar of “NEXT MONSTER.”

Chanya follows Evelli, the group’s first revealed member, who was introduced with a powerful rap and dance performance.

As the group continues to unveil its lineup (rumored to consist of four members), fans are excited to see how the final concept and dynamics take shape.
