In just 5 days, sales for (G)I-DLE YUQI’s debut solo album have soared past 500,000 orders, a remarkable feat. This achievement places YUQI among the top 10 best-selling female solo artists on Hanteo.
Notably, she also secured a spot on the top 5 list of female soloists with the highest first-day sales.
Titled “YUQ1,” the album debuted on April 23, featuring the amazing title track “Freak.” With a total of 7 songs, the album includes collaborations with renowned artists Lexie Liu, pH-1, and MINNIE.
YUQI, both a soloist and member of (G)I-dle, debuted with the South Korean girl group in 2018. Since 2019, she’s been a regular cast member on the Chinese variety show Keep Running. Additionally, she hosted the KakaoTV reality show Learn Way from 2020 to 2021.
