Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8 holds a firm position as well, and Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba remains a fan- favorite, drawing readers into its narrative of vengeance and courage in a world infested with demons.
Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work, Goodbye, Eri, is also featured in the August edition. Meanwhile, Tatsuya Endō’s Spy x Family takes spot 15, offering a slice-of-life of espionage and family dynamics. All these titles have claimed a spot on The New York Times Graphic Books and Manga bestseller list, a category that has gained recognition since its introduction in October 2019.
Manga has forever been prevalent in the Japanese community, being a staple in every library. It’s not often you find manga in bookstores in the West or even in India, but that’s not for long.
