The global website recently debuted the English publication of “The Emperor’s Caretaker: I’m Too Happy Living as a Lady-in-Waiting to Leave the Palace” (Kōtei Heika no Osewa-gakari: Jōkan-gurashi ga Shiawase-sugite Kōgyū kara Deraremasen) by Ichiha Hiiragi, Aya Shouoto, and Haruki Yoshimura. Additionally, Yoshiki Tonogai’s “Doubt” manga also commenced its English release on August 2nd, expanding its offerings on the platform.

The Emperor’s Caretaker
In “The Emperor’s Caretaker: I’m Too Happy Living as a Lady-in-Waiting to Leave the Palace,”, Linfeng, daughter of the Chancellor of the Right, unexpectedly finds herself as a novice lady-in-waiting in the inner palace after impressing the highest-ranking regent with her childcare skills and erhu playing during a ceremony to select the Emperor’s wife.
Square Enix introduced this manga series on Manga UP! in 2021, and the manga’s third volume was recently released on July 6. The original novel series by Hiiragi debuted on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in February 2021, with Square Enix publishing the third and final print volume on January 7.
Doubt
Manga UP! introduces “Doubt” as a gripping plot following Rabbit Doubt, a popular mobile game sweeping through Japan. Players, cast as rabbits, must unmask the wolf hidden among them before falling victim to its deceitful tactics and fangs.
When a group of teenagers come together in the physical world after connecting virtually, they unexpectedly find themselves trapped in an abandoned building, marked with bar codes and confronted by a scary revelation. With their lives on the line, they must confront the real-life challenge of identifying the wolf amidst them.
Tonogai’s Doubt, serialized from 2007 to 2009 in Monthly Shonen Gangan, and its successor Judge, both published in English by Yen Press, explore psychological horror and suspense, leaving readers and viewers hooked by their mysteries.
