Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly transported to a local hospital, according to multiple sources.
The 55-year-old music mogul had complained about knee pain, according to reports from Daily Mail and Page Six on Sunday, February 2.
The outlets further stated that Diddy underwent an MRI to assess an old injury before being sent back to the Metropolitan Detention Center several hours later.
Diddy’s Legal Troubles Continue
Diddy has been incarcerated since September 2024 following his arrest on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
A 14-page indictment alleged that he “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades.
Despite pleading not guilty to the charges, Diddy was remanded to Brooklyn’s MDC ahead of his trial, which is set to begin in May. He was denied bail following four separate appeals.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”
The statement concluded, “To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.
Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
In a separate statement later in September 2024, Agnifilo revealed that Diddy was receiving “treatment and therapy” while in prison.
“Mr. Combs is not a perfect person,” the statement read. “There’s been drug use, there’s been toxic relationships — which I think were mutual in their toxicity as these things often are.”
Agnifilo also noted that Diddy should be recognized for seeking help “at the ripe age of 54.” The music mogul later turned 55 while serving his time behind bars.
