Selena Gomez invited Benny Blanco to join her for a gathering with her co-stars from “Only Murders in the Building.”
In an Instagram Story shared on Thursday (May 9), the singer-actress and the producer, who have been dating for almost a year now, are seen posing in front of a vibrant wall art alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short, the lead actors of the Hulu series.
Also present in the snapshot are filmmaker Judd Apatow and director Steven Spielberg, along with a group of other friends.
In the snapshot, Gomez embraces Blanco, the “Eastside” musician sporting a vibrant sweater. Earlier that day, the Rare Beauty founder shared a photo of their intertwined hands.
This gathering isn’t the first time Blanco has joined Gomez, Short, and Martin. He accompanied Gomez to the 2024 Primetime Emmys, where they sat with the actors during the ceremony.
Only Murders was nominated for best comedy series, but the award went to FX’s The Bear, while Short was nominated for best actor in a comedy series, won by Jeremy Allen White.
The Instagram post follows their recent celebration of Blanco’s cookbook, Open Wide. Gomez shared photos from the intimate party, including Blanco’s cake replica of the book, expressing her pride. Blanco reciprocated with a comment: “life is better when i’m w u.”
On the same day, Blanco appeared on TODAY With Hoda & Jenna to discuss Open Wide. He also openly expressed his admiration for his relationship with the “Single Soon” singer, telling hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager,
“I wake up every day, and I look in the mirror, and I’m like, ‘How did this happen?’ But until anyone figures it out, whee!”
