On Monday, Bandai Namco Filmworks shared a teaser promotional video for their upcoming animated project called “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance”. They also shared additional information about how and when it will be released, as well as some details about the story.
The new animation project, “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance,” is going to have six episodes, each lasting 30 minutes. These episodes will be available for streaming worldwide. The story of this series will revolve around the European Front, which was a significant part of the One Year War, a well-known conflict depicted in the first Gundam anime. The story centers around Iria Sorari, and the mecha include the Zeon mobile suit Zaku II and the Federation mobile suit Gundam.
During Bandai Namco Filmworks’ Anime Expo industry panel on Saturday, Director Erasmus Brosdau delivered a video message. This message can now be viewed on the official Gundam YouTube channel, where it is being streamed.

Who is behind the making of Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance?
To make the latest installment of Gundam, “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance,” as incredible as ever, the franchise is bringing forth some amazing artists on board. Australian actress Celia Massingham, who worked in “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Ladies in Black,” is going to give voice to the lead character.
The entire project is being produced by the teams at Sunrise and Safe House entirely with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5. Gavin Hignight is writing the script of the series. He has also worked in Tekken: Bloodline, Star Wars: Resistance, Transformers: Cyberverse, and Marvel’s Spider-Man game. The project is under the direction of German artist Erasmus Brosdau. Brosdau is known for his works in Origin Zero and Warhammer 40.000’s “The Lord Inquisitor: Seed of Ambition”. Naohiro Ogata and Hignight are serving as executive producers, and Hiroaki Yura is producing the latest Gundam installment.

Despite being known as an anti-war franchise, it is not until Gundam 0080 that a season is truly devoid of any pro-war sentiments. In this season, the perspective shifts from the viewpoint of a pilot to that of a ten-year-old boy named Alfred Izuruha, who has a deep fascination with giant robots. When Alfred meets undercover Zeon pilot, Bernie Wiseman, he shows the harsh and gritty reality of war.
