The Giant Rasengan training is still on Boruto unleashes his shadow clone and tries to cut the rock using Rasengan. Their Rasengan seems to be powerful but it fails to cut the rock. Boruto tries wind style Rasengan with the help of his shadow clone. But this time it showed him better results and he is still not satisfied.
Mugino and Konohamaru are still in Victor’s laboratory they are surprised to see the fifth patient being taken to the special treatment room. They started wondering what is happening. While the patient is taken inside the special treatment room Mugino and Konohamaru saw a doctor that they know. The doctor said that if the experiment went successful he will achieve a great name. Konohamuru and Mugino try to follow the doctor by they fail entering the special treatment room.

Meanwhile, Shikadai shows up where Boruto is training. Boruto told Shikadai that he has to improve his Rasengan since the last time he fought with Deepa his Rasengan got shutdown. Shikadai bost Boruto’s confidence and left. Sarada is still training with her father trying to master her Chidori. Later Shikadi is called by Naruto and his father giving him a mission to retrieve the puppet he once fought with. Shikadai went with Chocho and Ino on their new mission.
Ino thinks that someone has stolen the puppet to use it for bad things, a mission they are in is a top-secret mission. Shikadai reveals that only Sand and Leaf will be investigating. They both go to fetch some food and at the entrance of the food store, the met with Deepa who just looked at them. When they enter inside everyone inside the store was killed. Deepa has already left and Ino asks if it is Deepa who did it. At the Land of Wind, their joint team has been waiting for them and they suddenly reach them.
Shikadai apologizes and told the Wind Shinobi that it is a joint mission they must work together. They manage to find the puppet and Deepa show up and told them to hand over the puppet. He said that he has beaten another Shinobi earlier and he went home crying. He said that referring to Boruto Shikadai and Shinki refuse to hand over the puppet. They started fighting with Deepa who took down Araya and Yoda in a single bullet punch. Deepa mages to defeat all of them and run away with the puppet. Shikadai went back to the village and report the matter.
