The second installment of Godzilla franchise recently hit the theaters but it is the end just yet because another big Kaiju showdown is right around the corner. Yes, I am talking about Godzilla vs Kong, the epic showdown we’ve been waiting for since 2015. This movie is slated to be released in 2020 and there are a lot of things that we know about the upcoming MonsterVerse movie. Be warned that there are some spoilers ahead if you don’t want to be spoiled then click away from this article.
Godzilla Vs Kong update
Godzilla Vs Kong will be released on 18 November 2020.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a trailer for the movie yet but it might be arriving very soon. The cast members for this movie consist of Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler who will reprise their King of the Monsters roles as Madison Russell and her, father Mark. Moreover, Ziyi Zhang will also be returning as the twin kaiju researchers Dr. Ilene Chen and Dr. Ling.
But that’s not all as the new movie will be bringing in new talents such as Alexander Skarsgård, Lance Reddick (John Wick), Eiza González (Alita: Battle Angel), Rebecca Hall, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), and Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2). Also, Danai Gurira (Black Panther, Avengers: Endgame*) is rumored but it hasn’t be confirmed. On the other side, we are going to see Godzilla and King Kong.

Beyond that, we don’t know if any other kaiju will show up, though it’s definitely possible after all the new titans that were introduced in King of the Monsters. This movie is been directed as well as co-writer Michael Dougherty is also co-writing this movie along with Terry Rossio and Zack Shields It’s being directed by Adam Wingard, who’s best known for horror movies like You’re Next.
