Black Adam is an upcoming American film based on the character of the DC comics of the same name. The film will be the spin-off of yet another DC film, “Shazam!” released in 2011. The eleventh film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) stars our favorite, Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a The Rock, for the lead role of Black Adam. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Rory Haines, Adam Sztykiel, and Sohrab Noshirvani. However, unlike other superhero films, Black Adam’s is titled after its antihero. The film revolves around a teenage boy Billy Batson (played by Asher Angel), who becomes the chosen one. Actually, the ancient wizard Shazam (played by Djimon Hounsou) made him his new champion, who can transform into an adult superhero “Levi” by just saying the word “Shazam.” Now, it is up to Billy to realize his superpowers and save the world and stop the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
