Home and Away is an Australian drama airing on 17 January 1988. It is the second-longest drama series after “Neighbors” All the series fans should thank Alan Bateman’s Kangaroo trip for the existence of the show. According to him, during his trip, he saw some locals who were against the “foster culture” and were complaining about the construction of foster homes. The show broadcasts Monday to Thursday at 7:00 pm. Ray Meagher is the only original cast still working in the series.

The series is in its 33rd season now. The show is focused on the lives of Summerbay’s (a fictional town) residents. Initially, the story was based on Tom and Pipa and their five foster children. They just moved to the house at Summerbay and now are working on running the caravan park. After coming to the city, they took in a sixth foster child. The show is running successfully, with various accolades under its name.

He plays the role of Alf Stewart. Alf is among the original characters of the drama. He is the only original character who is still present in the series. Meet The Cast Of Home And Away

Georgie Parker portrays the role of Roo Stewart. Initially, the character was played by Justine Clarke, who portrayed the character from 1988 to 1989 before quitting the show. The creators omitted the character only to rewrite it again in 2010 with Georgie Parker. Apparently, Roo is the hated character in the show. First, she deliberately destroyed her father’s marriage to Alisa. She then almost married Frank by telling him that she was carrying his baby. Chris Hemsworth portrayed the role of Kim Hyde from 2004 to 2007. Originally, Chris auditioned for the role of Robbie Hunter, which he did not get, and eventually called to play the character of Kim. They were the initial years of Chris in the industry, and now the actor is much-loved for his role as Thor.

She suffered from post-natal depression, lost her son, was electrocuted, and also suffered from cancer. Ada Nicodemou plays the role of Leah Patterson-Baker in the series. She joined the cast in 2000 and portrayed the character from that time. The actor took a break in 2012 after the birth of her first child.
